The day went quite well.
I stuck to just about everything I had planned, except one thing.
My meals were;
- Breakfast: 2 slices low GI bread with peanut butter
- Snack: apple
- Lunch: some left-over chicken and a banana
- Snack: apple
- Supper: tuna-mayo sandwich with salad on the side
- Snack: mango and sausage
Hmm, sausage for a snack? That is where the problem came in. Firstly, I should not even have sausage in my freezer - they are so high in fat no one should even eat them. BUT I do. And I had forgotten to take something out to cook for today, so sausage was the easy solution.
I cooked sausage with potato and cherry tomato and the smell was sooooo delicious, I couldn't resist it and had a link:-(
Apart from my unhappiness about eating the sausage, I enjoyed my foods for the day;-)
How did I do with my other goals?
- Exercise twice a week for 20 minutes - outstanding
- No snacking in-between meals and snacks - partly done, since the sausage was eaten as part of a snack
- Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day - had about 12 glasses througout the day
- Allow myself 1 coke a week - outstanding
- Eat at least 5 fruit/veggies per day - DONE! Had about 7 portions of fruit/veggies for the day
- Track what I eat daily - DONE. Tracked on fitday
According to fitday, my calories came to about 2,000 - still high, but I can improve on that!
Keep up the good work. Journaling is one of the best tools for managing weight. Looks like you're doing a good job setting goals and sticking to them. You rock sweety!
