I had such a lovely day today!
I went to the gym, had a very nice workout. I almost didn't go, was thinking of so many excuses not to go, but in the end I was glad I did. Did my 20 minutes on the treadmill - burned 125 calories. Was running too for about 8 minutes.
Food-wise it also went reasonably well.
Meals:
- Breakfast: Mango with 100 grams fat free yogurt (the yogurt tasted horrible, I prefer the low fat variety)
- Snack: apple
- Lunch: Sausage and stewed potato and tomatoes.
- Snack: apple
- Supper: baked chicken nuggets with salad, mushrooms, carrots, eggplant
- Snack: crackers and a piece of licorice (spelling)
The total calories for the day came to 1900 which I am happy with since it is slightly down from yesterday's 2000, but most was carbs - I definitely should try and reduce carbs and eat more protein.
Goals:
- Exercise twice a week for 20 minutes - 1 done, 1 outstanding
- No snacking in-between meals and snacks - done
- Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day - had 10 glasses througout the day
- Allow myself 1 coke a week - outstanding
- Eat at least 5 fruit/veggies per day - DONE! Had 7 portions of fruit/veggies for the day
- Track what I eat daily - DONE. Tracked on fitday
I also want to add an additional goals. Dd and I eat take-out on average once a week. I would like to bring that down to twice a month;-) Not only will it be better for my health, but also my purse;-)
